A new B in the hive!
New year. New career.
There’s no better way to kick off 2022 than diving headfirst into a new career opportunity. I’m so honoured and excited to join the Honey Cut crew to share in their success and creativity, but to also contribute in its growth.
After earning my B. Comm. Marketing Degree at the University of Saskatoon in 2005 I spent a couple years working for Saskatoon Fastprint before spending nearly 10 years at LMNO (formerly The Marketing Den) as an Account Executive and eventually as Senior Producer. In 2018 I decided to make the leap into municipal government, accepting a position with the City of Saskatoon as Marketing Consultant driving the marketing and communication efforts for their various waste and recycling programs. While my strengths lie in planning, project management and client relations, I’m no stranger to the creative process and helping companies tell their stories through various mediums.
On the personal side, I’m married to my beautiful wife (Jennifer) of 14 years with whom I have two amazing children; the wise, witty, and wonderful Lucas (12) and the rad (yeah I said it), refreshing, ray of sunshine Gemma (9). We’re a bit of a hibernation family in the winter, enjoying movies, video games, books, and lego, but in the warmer months we let loose and spend most of our time at our trailer at Lake Diefenbaker. We also have two dogs; a cockapoo named Rider (13) and a Lhasa Apso named Jersey (1). Yes, their names combined are Rider Jersey, but I assure you we didn’t plan it that way—although it’s very fitting given we’re diehard Rider fans. Who isn’t?! I’m also a big fan of the Detroit Redwings, Dallas Cowboys, and Tennessee Titans, so if we need to draw a line in the sand, we may as well get that out of the way early. 😉
Anyway—that’s me! I look forward to getting to work, jamming with some creative people, and making some magic happen.
